Raised in Beijing, China, born in 1997

I came to America alone at the age of 14. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA degree in illustration in 2020. After that, I studied branding and digital marketing at NYU graduate school.

In 2017, I apprenticed under a tattoo artist in Beijing. I love how tattooing is a poetic art form that celebrates perpetuity. I also love the special bond I have formed with my clients. I gradually developed my artistic expression through the last few years of practice and development.

Asian art and culture are one of my biggest influences and what I am passionate about. It is my goal to celebrate oriental culture through my works. I incorporated fineline brushwork and black ink into my designs. I loved the infinite possibility that water + inkstone can create in Asian art. My family originated from the Yangtze River in China; this cultural bond runs in my blood. Influenced significantly by the works of Katsushika Hokusai and Zheng Banqiao, I draw inspiration from the free-spirited depictions of nature and animals prevalent in ancient Asian art—a recurring theme in my own work.

As a tattoo artist, I perceive myself as a fairy adorning the human body with elements of nature. My creations consistently adhere to the decisions of enveloping and harmonizing with the unique contours of each client's physique.

The lines in the works I design embody a distinctive feature of Asian culture: modulation. The choice of varying line weights infuses my creations with a sense of breath and spirituality. What I aim to convey through my art is the natural beauty and organic essence that resonates within it.

I want to thank everyone who has helped and supported me throughout the years. I appreciate your trust and confidence in me. I get to do what I love to do because of you.
